"So is that the guy?" [Mob #8]

Overheard at the mob tonight:
"Is that Bill?"
"What's that guy doing?"
"Can you see what's going on up there?"

As evidenced by these photos, our experience of the final mob can be pretty much summed as "Is something happening?"

People seemed to be enjoying the chaos. Impostor or not, "Neon Sign Guy" certainly stole the show, if you could call it that [?] Nice that it was less scripted this time; a sort of minimalist mob...

As always, Satan's Laundromat, Fred Hoysted and cheesebikini? got the goods. There's another interesting post on the Only in New York blog on mob #8 as "a massive feedback loop, built around nothing but our expectations and desires."

Looks like you were in more or less the same crappy vantage point as I was -- my experience was also "is something happening?", but I pieced it together from talking to Bill at the after-party.

mob #8 was a riot i really enjoyed it the after party was cool also seeing mobbers from other events it was nice to be a part of it thanx for the good time bill and special thanx to satans laundromat
