Two men, one party come to your neighborhood.
A velvet cube and a map of lower Manhattan will be placed in the gallery where the Conflux is happening. The map is an interface between the viewers of the Conflux and us, as the performers. Each day the viewers in the gallery will specify a location for us to perform on the map. We will take the cube out of the gallery and travel to a predetermined location to perform our talk show in the street.
The talk show will have a theme of 1970s Dean Martin Roast. Crushed velvet, scotch in one hand, blue and black tuxedos, big ties and good times.
The guests of the show are people that live or work in the neighborhood. We will stay in the area for an hour and them move on to the next predetermined location. It is our intention to perform two or more talk shows a day.
At the end of the day, the cube will be placed back in the gallery.
